Zine Club

For the last five or six years we have been collecting 'things that fall from books'; plane tickets, photos, notes, receipts, postcards, matchbox covers, business cards, sweet wrappers... all manner of ephemera. On this Saturday morning we are going to finally make some use of it. We will gather together and create a 'zine' from all this material.

Zines are magazines that often have an ephemeral or hand-made feel to them and they have an association with punk bands, underground movements and niche fan bases. The kind of groups that couldn't afford high end printing and so made do with literal cut and paste, stick glue and a photocopier.

Our aim in the course of a gentle morning will be to create a limited edition zine, using the 'things that fall from books' collection as the source material.
