Buying books
Most of our stock lives on the shelves in Chapel Street. Much of it is also listed online through AbeBooks, including first editions and signed copies.

In the shop
The best of it is on the shelves, along with antique maps and prints. Come and browse Monday–Saturday, 10am–5pm. The forecourt shelves are open any hour, with an honesty box in the door.
New books
We're mainly second-hand and antiquarian, but we love a new book too. We'll happily order one in – ask in the shop or call 01730 263438 – or buy online from our Bookshop.org shop, which posts it to you and gives us a share of the sale.
