Halloween at the Old Bookshop

Make your way through the shop in the dark, among the smoke and candles, meet the ghosts and other creatures of the night who have come out of the ancient books to play on these two spooky evenings.

Think fairground ghost train but on foot... and through a bookshop... experience the shop as you never have before. For those of a tender disposition or with very young children who just want to come through and experience the atmosphere and the look of the shop in this spooky season then 3pm-5pm is your time. At 6pm or thereabouts the shop is populated by live(!?) performers as well and the whole thing becomes a great deal scarier.

Last year we had nearly 1,000 people through, if the weather is cold or wet please dress appropriately as there may be some queuing. No need to RSVP to this event.
