Dead Poets Salon and Open Mic

Every month we host our Dead Poets Salon. In the first half of the evening we hear about and from our dead poet of the month: think of it as half-way between a talk and a reading. We call the poet back to life with us for a while. Then we refresh our glasses and the open mic begins. We are open to all forms of performance though largely we hear from poets and the occasional singer - that could be you. If you are a poet please pop something in your back pocket for the second half.

This month's poet is a now little-known woman called Katherine Philips, a 17th century woman who wrote lyrical poetry.

£5 on the door but please let us know if you're coming as space can be limited.
