Dead Poets Salon

Our monthly Dead Poets Salon will be honouring the spirit of the silly season by honouring the memory and work of the Rev'd Robert Hawker. He was a Victorian vicar in Cornwall whose best known poem was 'Trelawny', now still thought of as the 'Cornish National Anthem'. More than this though he was a proper English eccentric! So much so that we will be asking you, if possible, to wear either a lot or a little purple on the night... to be explained.

As ever, the second part of our evening will be our always-lively Open Mic and you are welcome, nay encouraged, to read, sing or perform your own work to us.
