Dead Poets Salon

Our monthly Dead Poets Salon will this month be invoking the spirit of Mary Hebert, nee Sidney. In her day she was included in lists of illustrious literary lights alongside Shakespeare and Edmund Spencer. In fact Spenser, Drayton, Johnson and many others we all friends of hers and in her literary circle. As so often it's the woman who's history has been somewhat shadowed and tonight we will do our best to let her voice be heard again with renewed vigour.

As ever, the second part of our evening will be our always-lively Open Mic and you are welcome, nay encouraged, to read, sing or perform your own work to us.
