Dead Poet Salon and Open Mic

TWO things should you know about the DPS this month!!

FIRST, it is this Thursday, the 22nd, which is NOT the last Thursday of the month. This is a one-off for October for reasons of Halloween (see below)

SECOND, We are having a Bring Your Own Dead Poet evening. Instead of one poet introduced by one person we would like to you to bring with you some poems you love by a dead poet. If you want to theme them for the ghosts, the dead, the dark of the year then all well and good but it's not compulsory: bring something you love and would like to share. Up to three or four poems for this anthology approach to our evening the only rule is the poet must be dead. Then the second half remains the same, bring your own work to share: poetry, prose, song, interpretive dance!
